The contributions of women in shaping the early history of Milwaukee are frequently untold in history books.   Well, not any longer!  Come and learn about lives of Lydia Ely Hewitt, Margaret Falk, Dr. Laura Ross Wolcott, Meta Schlichting Berger, Dr. Elizabeth Peckham, Beulah Brinton, Martha Reed Mitchell, and Anna Maria Krug Schlitz.  Hear stories about the Underground Railroad, The Soldier’s Home at Wood, Children’s Hospital, The Woman’s Club of Wisconsin, North Point Lighthouse, Schlitz Brewery and the accomplishments of many more women of the 1800s buried at historic Forest Home Cemetery.
